PAC 10 has played Friday/ Sunday for decades. The way there conference is structured
before expansion, reduces travel and loss of class time. Example: two Oregon teams travel to Arizona, play ASU and Arizona and flip flop for the Sunday game and travel back home for Monday classes. Big 10 has done this for years also.

ONE of road trips of the 18 games for each school was Fri/sun (Stan at LA schools, and vice versa) the rest were Thurs/sat.

I think travel as in expense not education - if the team can travel to one area and then bus between venues it saves airfare and probably one nights accommodations on the long distance trips. I assume the AAC is looking at things like trying to schedule TX trips and FL trip for northern teams on a three day turnaround and the reverse for those teams. Uconn for example combined the UCF and Memphis games into a single trip though that still involved a plane trip between locations.

Well, if you want to take over the financial matters for all of these schools that are having certain money issues and you can tell them not only are their athletes' education not affected (note: not talking about UNC students where that's not a consideration) but that their revenues aren't affected because you have some magic-pill alternating-reality vapor solution for all their traffic expenses, please set up a consulting service for all the AAC schools so that they can make moolah while not being part of any P5. You say it has something to do with some laptops?
