PONs for G2

We've played two games with two opponents from last year. In G1 the opponent had a better shooting percentage than last year; now TAMU loses by a margin of only one point greater than last year. This is improvement?

What does it say when your assist leader after two games is your center? Our guard play is severely lacking.

Did you see that intentional foul play in the first half? How does our starting center allow herself to get pushed around like that?!

In the second half there was one possession where Faris lost her man and she scored from the top of the key. We strive for perfection at UConn and Faris just didn't get it done.

In our first game every player got an assist. In this game neither Stewart nor Stokes earned one. This is a disturbing trend.

We got beat in many statistical categories. TAMU got one more free throw, made one more free throw, got more offensive rebounds, more steals and fewer turnovers. We were lucky to grit out a win with stats like these.

Stewart, Jefferson, KML, Dolson, et al; can't we recruit anyone with the right body type?!

I'm thinking that far too many are completely disregarding the severity of the issues pointed out in these PON's. Over in the Caldwell and Turner thread, even DoggyDaddy has gone over to the dark side forecasting a record of something like 240 - 0 making TonyC seem like a pessimist.

So funny. Everyone calls Stewart too skinny, Jefferson too small, KML too out of shape, Dolson was too slow until she put in work.

These are all High School All Americans and probable top players in the Big East.

We are so spoiled in CT.
