Last night's performance is what I hoped Polley will be for UConn.

Played a very DeAndre Daniel's type game.

He is a very good shooter from the baseline with his feet set.

He had a real nice drive where he avoided contact and banked in a layup.

Played some D, got a block and was generally long and disruptive.

Ran hard and made the defense account for his movement.

Competed for boards and avoided any major mistakes.

3 blocks. He stretched the zone. If he hits his his free throws at the end he is in double digits. We have a key player.

Polley looks very confident from the 3 point line. When he releases you expect it to go in.

Yeah. Looked like a guy who has putting the work and knows he won't get the hook if he misses it. He does a good job of being ready when guards kick it out to him. He catches it with feet set and in shooting motion.

I thought he was tentative on his first three, but after that miss you could see his confidence grow, no hesitation on the catch and shoot.

Always been a fan of Polley. Brings a lot to the team. If he finds his stroke from 3 could have a good year.

Didn't he have a pretty good finish (short jump shot) in the second half, that was so exciting.

Thought he gave up several easy threes to Hughes in first half and tightened up.

He has looked more and more confident throughout this season. Can't wait for him to have a big break-out type game.

Especially that late 3 from the top corner. You could tell the bench thought is was good almost before he released it.

Hurley stated in an interview earlier that Polley is a deadly three point shooter in practice and they just had to find away to transfer that to actual games. Maybe with some makes in games his confidence will grow and it will become a regular thing.

I now have high hopes for Polley. A little more strength and confidence and he will have the potential to be a star. Loved that he blocked some shots and scored in a variety of ways.
