Are you talking about USF's Courtney Williams? I thought she was an underclassman.

Courtney is a Junior, but if Jewel had stayed at ND would have been in the same draft. Asked question as they are similar players and wonder who the readers thought is the better player. Just pretend they're in the same Draft:)

I would go with Jewel but Courtney is quicker and if she played with Notre Dame might be as good as Jewel. Courtney is the only player I have seen that consistently beat Moriah off the dribble. She is quick.

Jewell Loyd for overall play......But you can't go wrong with either one.

Jewell is 2" taller and a bit stronger. I'd take her. But Courtney Williams is a helluva player and will get some degree of AA recognition.

I would pick Jewel. Just because of her overall skill-set. Her athleticism is off the charts.

I'm more worried about USF with Courtney Williams next season then I am of ND with or without Loyd.

At first I didn't think this would be close but the numbers are very close. Jewell shoots it better from 2, Courtney shoots it better from 3. All other numbers are comparable except free throw attempts-Jewell has about twice as many attempts ( 236 to 123). I'll resist the cheap shot to say getting free throw attempts (via flopping) makes sense for an ND player. I'd take Jewell all day long because her numbers were put up in the ACC, she's taller and more athletic.

Can't cosign that. ND has lost it's "best player" 2 years in a row and have 1 loss (outside of UCONN) to show for it. I'm not saying I am afraid of ND but USF is not close to replacing ND on my radar.
