Prefer uniforms with the school colors. This regardless of the era. Men or women. We watch for the game and not so much for the uniform, could care less.

The throw back uniform doesn't have the UConn Husky dog logo on the front.

Thanks! I like the throwback ones! Adds a bit of color to it. And UConn instead of UCONN. But really not much different, IMO.

On a UConn website page titled "Office of Brand Partnerships & Trademark Management, appears the photo below of a UConn jacket apparel front (trademark) along with some links.
I think that the designers were trying to get away from the old postal abbreviation for the state of Connecticut which was Conn. as a way to modernize the lettering of the brand.

it's the opposite. it's the throwback ones that say UConn and the newer ones that say UCONN. The school rebranded a few years back.

If I ever see the satin uniforms again, I'm switching my allegiance to the University of Bridgeport Luckily, I believe UConn had a bonfire and burned them.

Frankly they are uniforms… we need a new concept and design.
