Great crowd but how do you get a drink??

We got there at 3pm. No line. Walked right into the raging inferno of UConn love. Tight quarters. Packed. Saw some friends. Made our way to the upper bar. Had one beer. Once the Fire Marshall’s who were Parade attendees left, do did we. It felt 120 degrees in there. On the way out, near 4:30 there was now a long line.

At one point in Legends, maybe an hour before tip, a full Irish band marched in with drums and fife and bagpipes. It was awesome. I looked at my buddies and said “UConn by a million”.

Anybody notice, during intros MQ announces team with West Coast rap. Then UConn, with Biggie comes on. I said, “this games over, before it starts.” ~ East coast.

That’s the overflow bar. Friends went. Said it was a zoo.

On semifinal night, you couldn’t even walk on West 33rd street itself, to get near the bar.
