Calhoun needs to start over Purvis - part of reason for slow starts

How about pass the God damn ball. Players get ripped on here too often (by myself included) but for that last sequence Purvis deserves to sit his ass on the bench and not return.
Two guys to pass to for a wide open layup. Instead runs right into the guy be and charges only to get bailed by the ref. bricks both free throws. Tulsa comes down and hits a three (could've been his man)
Next play he wildly drives in the lane and bricks another one.
He has moments but for large stretches of the season he has been an out of control selfish bum. He could just be one of those guys that kills a team. Seems like he tries hard and means well but he screws up all the time. Turnovers bricked shots. Never passes. Why does he still play over omar?

Just false. Took hamilton out immediately tonight for a bad shot to start. Sat purvis out during florida for a long stretch bc of bad defense

If you think Purvis's poor shooting has nothing to do with poor starts - you don't know ball

Considering he's shooting 42% from the field and 36% from 3...no that's not why this team always comes out slow. And if you're going to say you meant his free throw shooting, 1. He doesn't get to the line enough for that to effect the start of a game and 2. Free throws really don't effect the start of a game period. Rarely they do.
Stop blaming Purvis for everything. So he's a poor FT shooter...as are many others on this team. He's scoring 10ppg. He's NOT a "Ferrari" but he's still a damn good player. Omar right now is a big help coming off the bench as 6th man. Some are better suited for that role and I truly believe he is.
