Just for fun and for some interesting conversation; tell me what order these events will happen in, and if you'd like, explain why.

UConn wins #11
Duke (Coached by JPM) gets to the FF
Tennesee (Coached by Warlick) gets #9
Notre Dame gets #2
South Carolina gets #1
Stanford gets to the FF
Baylor stops flopping
Penn State becomes relevant again
Jeff Walz gets #1 for Louisville
C. Viv retires

My guess

UConn wins #11
Notre Dame gets #2
Jeff Walz gets #1 for Louisville
Duke (Coached by JPM) gets to the FF
C. Viv retires
Tennesee (Coached by Warlick) gets #9
Penn State becomes relevant again
South Carolina gets #1
Stanford gets to the FF
Baylor stops flopping

UCONN #11
C Viv Retires
Jeff Walz get #1 for Louisville
South Carolina gets #1
Penn States becomes relevant again
Stanford gets to final 4
Notre Dame gets #2
Notre Dame stops flopping (addition)

Side note: Baylor will never stop flopping or whining. Duke will not make it to the final four with Joanne... And Tennessee will not win #9.

Baylor stops flopping- This may have already happened because Mackenzie Roberts Mulkey graduated.
C. Viv retires-This may have happened already also in the Army we call this ROAD (Retired On Active Duty). When I watch Rutgers I don’t seen an engaged head coach anymore.
UConn wins #11-Stewie and MoJeff are still in uniform I like our chances
Notre Dame gets #2-they are certainly getting the recruits to make this happen
Penn State becomes relevant again-Bias Breanna Banks will help, Big 10 is not that strong except OSU Neb? PSU is one good recruiting class away from relevancy.
Jeff Walz gets #1 for Louisville –Give Cards a quality big (say cox or McCoy) to go with Durr & Moore and in the Post Stewart WCBB entirely possible.
Tennessee (Coached by Warlick) gets #9 In a Post Stewart WCBB world entirely possible because arguably might have the player of the year in DD.
South Carolina gets #1 (Davis, Coates, Wilson) might be the most talented trio in WCBB in 2016-17 season
Stanford gets to the FF-Weak conference, weak out of conference schedule by dropping UCONN, don’t see recruits in the pipeline to make this happen.
Duke (Coached by JPM) gets to the FF-self-explanatory-not going to happen.

UCONN wins #11
C. Viv retires
GENO retires
Other teams become eligible to win a National Championship.
I can easily see Geno coaching for another 5-6 years if his health is good. (If not longer)... that would DT time to continue playing before leaving professional basketball to take over as the head coach. Mark my words... Coach Taurasi and Associate Head Coach Bird......

Happened to stumble into YouTube of Presser for CViv after NCAA loss to UConn. You may be right. She was so mellow. On the other hand, much of what she said you could understand! In fairness, given Rutgers' injury travails including the one suffered in that game, I think any coach would feel a little beat down and maybe even relieved to have his/her season over.

True, she did say the usual "Geno gets the best players", but not in a Brenda Frese cheap shot way.

Frankly, I liked this CViv better.

See her talk about "the well oiled machine" here.

I agree with your point that some on that list will NEVER happen.

UCONN wins #11

The events that will never happen:
1. Baylor stops flopping
2. ND stops flopping
3. TN gets #9
4. PSU gets relevant again

The rest all depend on UCONN, as long as the pieces remain in place, Geno, CD, Shea, Marissa, their recruiting remains top rate, etc. the other things will not occur! CViv will retire in another year or 2! Stanford could return to FF!

I can see all of these happening within a reasonable timeframe...... except the Tennessee thing.....

If Tenn insertion is amended to exclude Holly .... or keeping her but adding an offensive minded coach, then they will be in line to win chmpnshp at some poiint

UCONN wins #11

Duke goes to final 4 with McCallie coaching

ND wins #2

CVS retires

South Carolina wins #1

Louisville wins #1

Penn State becomes relevant again

Baylor stops flopping

Tenn wins #9 with Warlick

Stanford makes the FF again

I created the thread, have been looking at it for over 24 hours and still can't figure out the full order lol. I stumped myself. I do think that some of those may never happen. Might have been a bit lofty on certain expectations.

Interesting exercise. With ND and SC we're talking Wilson v Turner. Looking ahead right now, ND has more talent coming in. Will Wilson's window close after next season when Mitchell, et al graduate? I'm not sold that Davis is a championship player. ND should be the favorite to win it all in 2017.

Agree. Unfortunately for S Carolina (not USC), their best team is probably going to be this "rising" year followed by the the year after. However, this coming year is UCONN's. After that the competition will be really stiff from ND, TN, Louisville, UCONN. Without some good recruiting (and they're not really hitting), this S. Carolina team might miss their opportunity/window.

I was never really impressed by SC and with this new jumbled mix of transfers and such I am not sure I see what they are trying to build. Maybe after the first few games of the season the picture will become more clear. I think if they have a shot it would be next year or maybe the year after? Like I said I'm not sure what they are really going for as far as style of play.

UConn wins # 11
UConn wins # 12
UConn wins # 13
UConn wins # 14
Hell freezes over
All the rest in no particular order
CViv retires
