Playing Time

There have been several threads speculating playing time for this year's team. It struck me that we might get some insight into Geno's thinking with the very first game against Ohio State. IF the game is not a blowout, I don't think Geno will rotate all the players. Geno will shorten his bench. That's a big "IF", but this is the first game of the season, and even UConn is not always hitting on all cylinders early in the season.

With a roster of 13, almost all coaches have a rotation of eight, with the extra five coming in once the game has been won. I would be very surprised if Geno deviates from that pattern once he has established in his mind who those eight players will be. That decision may not happen until the conference schedule starts, or even later.
