Players Entering Transfer Portal, As of March 2024

Recently saw a brag online that TN didn't have any players in the portal, so ...

Wonder if Puckett will be following. Recall they played on the same AAU team. Possibly high school too, but not sure on that.

Its silly to brag on something like that in the middle of April.

And it's not like they had a championship caliber roster. The more departures the faster the new coach can implement her system. I believe they are down to 9 scholarship players right now (if Wells takes her Covid year), so ample portal room.
With her uptempo style, I'd think anyone who's not particularly athletic will be out the door.

The portal champ discussion is one of my favorite boneyard past times. Looking forward to it this year. As funny as I find it, and I know it drives ppl crazy, in retrospect it's not that crazy. In pro sports there are like front office awards

Congratulations to those teams that raise portal champions banners in recent years. Texas and Tennessee among the notables.

Looks like TVO has a final four - Louisville, Colorado, USC and Kentucky.

On edit - the top 3, 5, whatever as HS students is great, but this is kinda much?

Maybe, but it also helps to quash any rumours about other teams being in the mix. This trend is never going to go away now that it's considered part of the "process" so to speak.

So true. But now all the unsubstantiated rumors will only include these final four

TVO is referencing fortnite. Wow, that's not something I thought I'd see

You don’t think that the Winston-Salem Textilers or many of your other 32 “home” teams wouldn’t gladly take a UCLA reject?

Its only 18 or 19 teams, gotta do a relist soon. But anyway, I was much too harsh initially. Did some research and I would love HPU, UNCG, Elon, Presbyterian et al to have her. Especially HPU....we need size.

You've swerved from W-S to some of the Greensboro burbs...

Ouch. This one hurts my Bruins. Second starter to leave this year after two others left last year. For those who don't know, Kyla is Kevin McGuff's daughter.

Do not contact? If I were.a coach, I wouldn't contact a player averaging 3.7 ppg
You might if your entire team left and you're scrambling for players with D1 experience. She was ranked 49 on Hoopgurlz which is decent.

There was another article that also stayed Emily bessoir is not returning. Sucks her career was plagued so much by injury. I did expect to see her back so I'm surprised

Probably wasn't starting over Dugalic this year. Even less playing time if UCLA lands Iriafen
