Could be. Or else someone additional incomingZaay Green committed to Alabama recently. Is this who you're thinking of?

Loyal McQueen played two years at Georgia Tech, two years at Alabama, and a fifth year at a school to be named.
Perhaps "Loyal" was not the best name choice ...
Thanks--added Iriafen. I don't think Wolfenbarger/Diew are top transfers so I didn't include them. You're missing Kiki Iriafen, Diew (ISU), and Wolfenbarger?
I agree re the ACC's prestigious collection of schools. I can't think of any conference outside of the Ivy League that can boast the level of academic excellence that the ACC can when you take into consideration Duke, Notre Dame, UVA, and GT, and add to that Stanford and Cal.
Having said that, it doesn't matter. The ACC is losing the women's basketball image battle to the SEC. There are lesser players who are finding landing spots in the SEC, so a player like Aaronette Vonleh can almost assuredly find a nice home in the SEC as well and pick up a nice bag to boot. Sure, she can help up-and-coming Duke or a recent FF team like NC State. But she can also help a still quite dangerous LSU program (national champs in 2023) or even a nearly flawless South Carolina program (national champs in 2022 and 2024). This is a losing fight.
You are killing it today! Her parents intended to name her Fickle McQueen, but the nurse misheard and wrote Loyal on the birth certificate.
The Transfer portal has become pretty much free agency , seeing players in the portal for the 3rd and 4th time is just outrageous to the games integrity imo .

I’m a SEC graduate and supporter but tend to agree why leave a solid program in the ACC unless you are heading to one of the big timers. But what gives the SEC a better image for women’s hoops than the ACC? LSU and USC - totally get it. But … then what? The ACC, beyond academics but just on the strength of the league top to bottom seems like they are punching on the same level as the SEC. The SEC is more top heavy for sure, but the middle of the conference seems better in the ACC.
Totally get someone leaving for LSU or South Carolina. But is Florida, Ole Miss, Arkansas, Auburn, Bama, Vandy, Missouri, Miss State, UGa, UK … are those schools that much more enticing than ACC schools ? I don’t see it. To me the only difference, and it’s a big one potentially, is money. The ACC gets exposure on TV, gets teams in the big dance, has great environments to play in - I just don’t see the obvious differences in the leagues as a whole.
Now I’m guessing money IS an issue and is becoming more so. LSU clearly has more money to throw around in women’s sports than most anyone in the nation. Apparently UK has a lot as well poaching an ACC coach from a secure job where he’d built a program. That sort of thing is very concerning for the conference and I imagine it’s going to get worse as football money continues to drive realignment and the rich get richer.

Kinda surprised at this one
What class is she a member of?
Clemson it is. Really hope she does well. I'm a big fan.Good to hear from a Belmont supporter. I don't mind being challenged/corrected if I'm off-base. But your information also brings up other questions.
Gosh knows Wake Forest could use some help.
- Who else recruited Tessa Miller? Did she get interest from SEC/ACC schools?
- I didn't articulate my comparison well. I'm aware Miller is primarily an internal player -- kind of a Liz Karlen -- whereas Pissot has become almost a one-trick bomber from the player I saw/scouted in high school in New Jersey. Does a Vandy want to have players who are , for wont of a better phrase, somewhat one-dimensional in their offensive approaches? (There, that's better....
)
- I'm familiar with Madison Bartley and was a bit surprised she didn't get more of a chance at Baylor. Bartley, btw, was a high school teammate of ND's own Maddy Westbeld.
- So, if you don't think Miller is P5 ready, why would she even bother transferring? See no reason to go to a Big East where none of her family could see her. I watched Marshall and the new coach likes to play in waves. Maybe Miller could be part of one of them? Or, could she bridge the gap for new coaches at Clemson, Miami or Va. Tech?
Thanks for the scouting report and I hope this move works out for her. And that Bartley gets to see the court next year in Waco.

Makes me wonder/scratch my head, as well. This makes me so, so sad. I was really looking forward to her coming back healthy next season. To make matters even worse, UVA has no experienced height☹️
I looked at a roster that had her listed at 5'11. Isn't she quite a bit taller than that? I was thinking 6'5.This makes me so, so sad. I was really looking forward to her coming back healthy next season. To make matters even worse, UVA has no experienced height☹️
No, she’s 5’11”. Great leaper prior to the knee injury. Her height was part of the reason she didn’t get much playing time at UConn. Very athletic, but no outside shot to speak of. So kind of a tweener. But boy can she rebound!I looked at a roster that had her listed at 5'11. Isn't she quite a bit taller than that? I was thinking 6'5.
I'm thinking ND if she's willing to play limited minutes her first year (for a team that could compete for a national title if healthy).I really like Mir. I think UMD would be a good fit.
