With Temple threatening to snatch victory from UConn and approximately 24 seconds left, UConn's poor tackling paid dividends. The inability of someone to wrap the ball carrier alllowed him to go sideline to sideline and eat up a valuable 16 seconds running east to west. Left them with only 8 seconds to play.

Happy for a much needed victory. They made it much more difficult than it should have been. And, yes there was improvement by the defense and the offense needs to keep attacking through the air.

Hey, I wanted them to stuff Temple back at the twenty, but they CHOSE to make it so much closer. WTF, they need to be more consistent with their tackling - although I did see some better tackling i instances.
