That onside kick is puzzling

The kickbwas good, UConn over ran it. Then the defense makes a stop. UConn ball.....except forban inexplicable move by Adams.

We just cannot seal the deal.

Yes we need to call a play that does not lead to a pass bouncing off a receivers hands. Cmon coach -- stop calling the play where the receiver drops the ball

It's not just dropping the ball that's a problem (although it certainly is a big one). How about the UConn receivers creating separation from DBs. Heck, how many times in passing situations, we're the BYU receivers wide open for the catch?

.-.
Any truth to the rumors Verducci bought GDL's home in the area and decided to leave left the wallpaper up?

Play calling isn't the reason our OL plays the "Olé Technique"... You can compensate some with some other plays, but at some point the line just has to do their job and block.

I continue to be puzzled by posters claiming the line is improved from last year. It isnt. The pass blocking is not good, and the run blocking is horrid. The o line was getting tossed around like they were 150 pounds. Yesterday makes me even more convinced Levy should kick inside.

The staff has to start rotating in other linemen. Even if it is gor a series or two. See if someone rises to the challenge.

I don't know, the coaches know the personnel better than me, but I'd like to see more zone reads in the running game and more rolling of the pocket in the passing game. When I see BS under center I just wince. He's not a pocket passer and that's what he's being asked to do.

Let him get outside and make a play with either his arm or legs.

I appreciate the shots down field, but I'm no fan of a low percentage play on 1st down. Only came close once. I was frustrated to not see Beals more of a target.

There's no reason to call play-action on third down. Everyone knows it's coming. We didn't see many of the fast screens that we've been seeing. I don't see many route concepts out there, like smash, mesh, posts etc. Seems like we only throw it deep, and we barely get our TE's involved.
