Just think about what you're asking. If a team is playing a zone and KLS is on fire - you really want to pull her out and not play most of the 1st half? What about if Collier's defense on one player is super- but the one play can go off because she is super. You put a lesser defender on her- she hits a few and gets her confidence. Would you really want to risk that?

Let's just say Geno didn't platoon in 2000-01 at the beginning of the season when the second unit consisted of Kennitra Johnson, Diana Taurasi, Ashley Battle (I know, injured early in the year), Tamika Williams, and Asjha Jones. The GOAT, another Olympian, two other WNBA players, and a talent that could have been at that level.

He may have come close a few years ago, in disgust at the effort the starters were showing. Don't remember the exact game, but walk-instead were in mid first half for extended minutes.
