Places to eat before the game?

Joseph's Steak House is a terrific place to dine in Bridgeport. Unfortunately, it's not ideal when the game starts at 7, not within walking distance.

At this late date, it's unlikely that you can get a reservation anywhere close to the arena for 2 reasons: there are not many places and they're likely already booked. Joseph's is 6/10 mile from arena. There are other places in Bridgeport and surrounding towns within 10 min drive, but then you will need to deal with last minute traffic getting to the arena. Best bet now is to go to Fairfield (has 3 train stations) or Westport to eat, and take Metro-North 10-15 minute ride to Bridgeport Station which has an elevated covered walkway to Webster Bank Arena. Don't need to deal with last minute traffic into Arena area, or everyone leaving at the same time on the way out. Train ticket will be around $3. Check schedules at Metro North website.
