Pitt screws my brackets up every year. I don't see them beating the Zags and I'm not picking em cause I don't think this is the year they change things.

Every year I have picked Pitt to do well, because I expected them to play as tough as they had when we played them during the season....

And then they just didn't.

Somehow, year after year, they demonstrated that playing UConn means more to them than playing in the NCAA tournament.

Was in the car yesterday during selections. Julius Page was co-hosting the local sports station's selection show. He repeatedly talked about how he and Brandin Knight used to complain that Pitt was jobbed by the NCAA on seeding/region/venue, noting how they had play Wisconsin in Milwaukee despite having a higher seed. And their rationale was that they felt Pitt was equal to UConn at the time (and admitting UConn was the "true" rival in the 2000s) and UConn always got favorable treatment from the NCAA - or at least better treatment than Pitt did.

They are too physical

You haven't watched Gonzaga play this year have you? This mentality of them being soft because they are a West Coast team is absurd - their front court will hang with just about anyone and their real weakness is playing against big physical guards... which Pitt doesn't have.

O.K., how many examples do they need from us to show that is not true? The only thing we all started to agree with was it was best for UConn to be out in the west regional. And that can't possibly be construed as getting preferential treatment since every other school likes to play as close to home as possible.

HAHAHAHA Pitt just Pitt'd.

Gonzaga isn't getting out of the first round without sweating a little bit. Up only 3 now.
