Have you learned nothing about Pitt from 2002 on? They have one Elite 8 in that time.

Listen, I know it sounds good in your head. It really does. But, what will happen is Witchita State will win, and you'll have the shame of picking Pitt two rounds too far yet again.

It's not worth it.

I really think the Zags are really good this year. They've got a really talented & athletic front court & back court. No superstars but much more balance than most teams. A difficult call. And the Zags usually do well this time of the year. I'm not sure Pitt can beat them.

Olynyk might not be a superstar but he's pretty close. One of the best front court players in the country and Harris is a beast too. They are one of the premier front courts in college hoops.

Ps. David Stockton is a great PG too

I wouldn't call Stockton "great," he's not even their starting point guard, is he?

Pangos is good, I thought Stockton was basically a rotation guy. They're a very good team though.

Pangos and bell start and are really good players. Stockton gets starter type minutes usually and I love his game. "great" was probably a bit if an overstatement but I love his game b

Zags can't be taken lightly. Stockton is a good role guy off the bench but Pangos, Harris & Olynyk would start on most teams in the country. Olynyk is probably First Team All American. Problem with Gonzaga, most Top Teams don't want to play them, except on their home court. Kudos to the Zags to travel to them.

Pitts reputation for being a physical team is overrated these days. They haven't been that physical since those Brandon Knight and Chevy Troutman teams IMO.

Those Blair teams were physical but not as physical 1 through 5 as the BK and CT teams. I think the Blair take down on Thabeet at XL Center overrated their reputation IMO.

Pitt could, but it would be out of character. I think next year is Pitt's year to finally crack the FF - might be better than the Blair team that should've beat Nova and made the FF.

Adams has finally figured things out, but Pitt's problem is Dixon doesn't have experience coaching flow around a true #5, so Adams doesn't get as many touches as he should. Zanna should score at will, but thinks pass first, even when he's open for an easy bucket in the lane. Robinson will be good, but he's still making freshman bonehead plays. Ziegler was a waste of a scholarship and Patterson is mercurial. Probably the biggest thing is that Trey Woodall is supposed to be 'the Man" but he's no Kemba.

And if you listen to Pgh sports radio coverage of the Panthers, that's what it always comes down to: callers and hosts saying, "Who's our Kemba? We don't have one."

Lol...And scoring 39 points in a 40 minute game against Georgetown isn't killing the game?...figures with SarahCuse fans.

Pitt screws my brackets up every year. I don't see them beating the Zags and I'm not picking em cause I don't think this is the year they change things.

Whoever thinks Pitt is more physical than the Zags this year hasn't watched the Zags play. Yeah Stockton and Pangos are small. But the rest are very physical. Stockton and Pangos don't need to be physical and are a deadly combo like Boatright and Napier.

This is precisely why Syracuse will underachieve in the ACC....

They complain about the teams that they play being overly physical.....but do they do anything about it? No!

If they expect to be in the top eshelon of the ACC, they need to have worked more on the basics these past two years.

Their flopping skills are remedial, at best.
