Pitt -10?

Anyone else see that line? I couldn't believe it. I know I am a homer, but how do you justify a team that has played as poorly offensively as Pitt should be a 10 point favorite?

Also...I don't really think that Heinz is that intimidating of an atmosphere, so I don't think there is much of an advantage there...just the usual 3 points.

Add in the rain factor, and I just don't think Pitt should be more than a 3 to 5 point favorite.

If you go to the Pitt boards, given their last two games they are as shocked by the line as anyone. One poster said something like "that can't be us being 10.5 point favorites -- are you sure 10.5 isn't the over/under?"

Since that game they lost 34-10 to Rutgers and 26-14 to Utah at home. AND...they only had 120 yards of total offense against Utah.

It only took about 2 minutes for PITT to amass more offense against our Defense than it did the entire game against UTAH. Oh, and Ray Graham wasn't in for most of those plays due to his injury.

It can only get better from here.....
