He's gotta be better than that big load on the Celtics.

Nine year NBA career. It's a lot more than I thought he would have.

Jake and Travis both made a lot of money from their height and willing to back up the main big on a team.

Robert Jacob Voskuhl.
There's a good story about him being shell shocked when he came to UConn and he called home down to Texas to tell his father he couldn't take it anymore.
And what did his father do?
Have him diagnosed with ADD, put him on meds, and bring him back home to play at Texas Southern?
No.
Comfort him and tell him that JC was no demigod, but was a monster posing as a coach for the sole purpose of dashing the hopes of young, bright eyed men?
No.
What he did was tell him to put on his big boy pants and go play the GD game under the great Jim Calhoun. That's what he said. He did it Texas style - no excuses, no BS, just buck up and work.
And Jake took his father's advice, and then he took Jim Calhoun's, and then he pushed through to a 10 year career in the NBA.
Well done Jake. Forever thankful for your wonderful contribution as a Husky. Thumbs up.

Ten plus years making over 15 Mil. Topping out in 2007 when he made 3M with the bucks. Not a bad living for a back up center. Hope he invested smartly.

Plus I'm sure the NBA has a nice pension plan for 10 year vets (couple of 100K a year my guess) which is a nice.

LOL. I didn't even know he was in the NBA.....

It reminds me of the stapler guy in Office Space that got laid off years earlier but payroll never changed his status in the system and he kept getting a pay check and coming to work.
