Those were some good teams at Iowa, before/during/after Stokes' tenure. I remember seeing a few games at the old Fieldhouse from 1978-80; that place was a classic gym for college hoops! I didn't get to see Stokes in person but caught most of his games on TV.

You also had great seats! Probably could have been run over by players on some plays! I am sure you had a great time celebrating there!

I was totally blessed to get those seats. And to see the gals play in person up close, just amazing! During the Notre Dame game, the ball got knocked out of bounds to me and I was able to pass it back to the refs. A few plays later Dee Kanter told me with a smile "you got to touch the game ball." I'm still on a high from all the excitement.
