I love this thread as well, it's great sharing input about games with others. I am a betting man though haha...hope to contribute to the discussion all season.
 
I think that USF is interesting. Hate going across the country and 1.5 doesn't do much for you - pretty much need to win.

The more I stare at it the more I like Temple -10. Although I'd rather Maryland look good and set us up for a nice number next week. There is no
way Maryland is going to do anything against the UConn defense.

I bet 16 games last week will be lucky to find 5 this week.

Not nearly as much, and if I was only reacting to week 1, I'd sit it out. But since I liked Cinci during the offseason at 4 I need to trudge along.
 
Cincy ended up landing at 4.5. Hopefully Pitt is as bad as I think they are.

Any thoughts on tonight's game? Tons of money is on Utah but the line is dropping. Always wary of that reverse line movement.

Utah St is a pretty good team, they played a ton of close games last yr and return a lot of players, but Utah looks really solid too. I think they are the best team in the PAC 12 South besides USC. Really tough game to pick IMO...

The score could have been much closer. A few times a year there are lines that are just insane - throw out the trends they just make no sense.

I sort of like Utah in general this year, they seem to just solidly fly under the radar. As of right now I don't plan on playing it. I can't wait to get home and pick apart the Saturday lines - noon UConn starts move the process up. UConn down to 3.5 the last time I checked.
 
Was able to get Utah -6.5 so took it.
Going with Virginia -10, Wyoming -2.5, Georgia -2, Florida -1, NCSU -3.5, Maryland +10, UMass/Ind Under 49, UL-L +3,

Nice to see this thread still going. Whaler I just added Maryland to my list this afternoon. I Could see a blowout here I liked Coyer last year as a dual threat qb,Maryland seems to Stink again.I haven't seen Nevada but they seem to be a bcs buster type team will be tough for USf going there. Also started liking USC over 64 the last few days. Def still like air force. Also like Wisconsin su and thinking about teasing them with either air force or the patriots? Like Nebraska and vandy(a lot) at night. Like the jets and leaning carolina and Denver for nfl. And oh yeah Playing uconn of course:)
Whaler,have you changed your mind on air force?

I finally have lines so I can make calls. Air Force is 21. I would have laid off <21 but will prob add. I'll probably change them all 3 times between now and noon and haven't really looked at the totals yet. Thanks Utah by the way - way to show up.

Most of those look good. NEVER bet on Rice and David Bailiff though. UCLA is horrible and Rice made them look like the Patriots.

I'm starting to like ark st over Memphis ark st crushed them like many teams did last yr. Memphis might be worse team in land

I was on NCSU here since summer. Maryland I did have a change of heart on. Edsall great as dog and thats a big number. But I'm not going to pretend I'm confident on the card. Started 13-6-1, just hoping to stay lucky.

And i like ark state too - just is up to 23 for me so laid off but tempted to add. You sold me, I tossed ark state in too.

Now done but added duke under 58.5 bgsu -16 wash +24.5

If UConn wins I'm happy to lose the bet. If they get beat at least I covered the bet. I keep them separate.

UConn on the ML is a much better bet than +4. Good move there.

I would lean towards Oregon State. No idea what happens in Reno. I wouldn't touch Syracuse but I can see USC destroying them - just hate how USC manipulates scores.

2-1 on the day with Arizona pending...lets hope they can cover a +10 spread after being up by 9 at half!

Arkansas St was really sloppy, allowed 2 TDs to Memphis on special teams errors...I definitely will fade them in the Sun Belt.

0-3. Yup, this is exactly how I remember it being when I used to place bets occasionally. I'm not kidding, if you want a lock, check back on next weeks picks ATS and go opposite of me. The odds will be heavily in your favor.
 
Horrible In college this week was looking ok until Nevada let USf scOre on a 50+ yard bomb with 30 seconds left. Went downhill from there. And whaler I almost played lsu instead of ark st. They barely beat one of the worst teams in the country after Beating them 48-3 last yr. Pretty sad.

I did much better in Nfl I thought I may play a lot college games this yr but college is tough I may let college play out a little more until I bet 10+ games a week again! Probably will play 3 maybe 4 this week. College kids are to sloppy and unpredictable. No early leans yet will look at the spreads and movement over the next few days.
Nfl really did save me I won jets,Houston,arizona under,and Denver.lost Carolina over(big bet tho) also liked pats and falcons but decided not to play them.

I like Oakland almost if not more then Denver last night. Sry for the horrible NCAA picks might be more of a nfl year for me. GL! I have Oakland with Denver on a parlay.

What are your thoughts on cincinnati/Baltimore? Leaning cin +7 1/2
 
Glad someone had success with the NFL yesterday....anything over 7 and I like the Bengals tonight as well.
