Pick your own seats question

I thought I read on this forum you can actually have a "soft" purchase, you can see where your seats might be but nothing is final until you can actually pick and pay for your seats beginning in August.

Am I mistaken?

Or is this true? because I can't find that option

First week of July they let you pick your seats. They hold the seats for you and if you don't pay before they send out tickets then you lose those seats.

That's my understanding of the new process since they now offer a payment plan in addition to 1 payment

You pay before the deadline then chose your seats at a set time based on proirty points. Still have to put the money up front

So there is no "soft opening", which I can't find if there is one.

I'll stop wasting my time now
