Cowards, come on Fraide cats, you care what others will say about your pick. OK, here goes. My pick comes from watching them and how I felt about a few things... recruiting process, playing, how they made me feel over their entire UCONN career until draft day. My pick Paige. Grow some and put your pick down.

Before this year, I’d have said the GOAT of all GOATs was Maya. But suddenly the picture is not so clear.

‘Nuff said.

UConn has had many great stars but I have to say for me it is Diana. Realize that Bird, Cash, Jones and Williams were four starters on the floor for virtually all meaningful minutes in 2000-01. They left for the W and Diana was leading supposedly talented but truly untested new comers now in the starting line up for 2001-02. I was amazed they won the title. Diana “Call me!” Taurasi* has moxie! She’s bold and a winner!

*in Cameron when Diana made the “Call me” gesture to the Crazies as UConn stormed out to an early lead. So great.

At this point it is a blowout for DT. Stewie is a problem because of her size but her skills would not be enough if she didn't have a 7'1 wingspan. DT changed the way women played the game and until CC she was the standard all players were measured against. Paige is a good college player but she has to show she can play with the big girls before she gets any credit at all and really shouldn't even be on this list...yet.

I'm not 100% clear on what the question is. Is it asking which of these women is the greatest UConn player of all time—when she was at UConn? Or including her WNBA and USA Basketball career?

My answer differs depending on the question: DT is the most accomplished player of all time (college, pro, and USA Basketball included), Stewie had the most impressive college career, and Maya is the greatest basketball player I have ever seen. Paige is just getting started.

If we're talking college..it's Stewie and it not even close. Whn another UConn player accomplishes in her 4 years wht Stewie brought to the table I'll definitely be happy to change my vote. As a matter of fact I doubt if another wcbb player wins 4 championships in a row and is named M.O.P each year ever again...imho

Am I missing something? They never seem to be asking a question. Is it best UConn career? That would be Stewie. Is it best pro career? That would be Diana. Is it most followers on social media? That would be Paige.

Diana revolutionized how the game of women’s basketball was going to be played when she entered college. And, afterwards.

Presuming the criteria was best or most accomplished, it has a different order to it as opposed to who mixed talent, accomplishment and whose persona resonated with the typical fan. The first - Stewie, D and Paige. The second - Paige, D and Stewie. IMO..

I agree Paige was a very good WCBB player but not great and didn't change the game like DT and CC..having Maya with DT and Stewie would have been much more appropriate

They were booing? I thought they were mooing. Nobody, pre-DT, played the game like DT. She is the GOAT. Maybe in 3 years Ms. Strong's name will enter the discussion. If so, threads about who the 4 on the mountain will be will get very interesting. Right now, it's Paige.

I guess they just left it up to our interpretation. Ugh!
