I saw a pic of Mccombs and Smallwood with the helmets on and to me it looks cool to have the piercing Husky eyes coming right at you.

I love it and think it will look even better in a game situation. Picture the opposing QB seeing a bunch of Huskies lined up coming at him. It'll be even cooler when it's cold out and you can see their breath.

Overall new uniforms look fantastic. Helmet...maybe. At least it will stand out.

As a side note...anybody else think the vollyball player looks pretty darned cute?

It also seems like looking at the back of the blue helmets, that the blue is very dark (almost black?). It could be that the matte finish is giving it that look. I really liked the way the previous helmets' blue stood out and I hope that it is just that the picture is not doing the color justice...

I detest that helmet. It's a helmet worthy of Conference USA.
