I'm not sure if this was posted before, but here is what the field will be looking like:

In that light........the new logo and UCONN should be swapped. Really don't like the midfield symbol stretching from the 33 yard lines.

And not to go all HFD........but is the lettering really going to be outlined in red?

Why is it that all the figures have to face the TV side of the field? The Band usually plays to both sides after first getting their TV time. No big deal just an opinion.

I'll grant you that UCONN lettering at field's center IS pretty big. The field isn't lacking for logos & decals either. Lots going on there.

That's almost my exact thoughts upon seeing it. But I'm fine with it. It's really not on my list of huge concerns.

Bingo. Agree on all fronts.

Side note, I think we are getting a little over sensitive over people "complaining" about stuff. Maybe it's the DJ on the Michigan tickets thread, but it's perfectly ok to not like some stuff about the field design and express that here. Doesn't mean anyone is cancelling their season tickets.

Agree on the midfield logo. If they wanted to keep "Huskies" in the blue end zones and place the wording UCONN where the new logo is (opposite AAC logo) - I'm good with that.

The field should be white, like snow, with the Huskies mushing over all opposing teams and a big blue husky at mid-field with blue, LCD eyes pearing straight up into the camera.

I agree with this post. Makes sense not to spread our name across the middle of the field which gets torn up. It will start to look run down as the season progresses and the logo could be touched up easier IMO. Either way I think it looks great, and I'm glad were adding a little color with the red outlines. Looking forward to this season, should be a good one!
