Phillips would have made difference

All week, it seemed like Shakim's hamstring was improving and although questionable, thought he would play from the articles I read late last week. I like Foxx as a third receiver but he is not the threat that Phillips is. Our wideouts have been the strength of our team this season and with one of the two out, it was obviously going to affect our passing game. If Shakim plays, we win that game.

Despite what he said, when you saw him walk off against UMD, you knew he wasn't playing. I'm hoping he is back for USF. That would be almost a month since he hurt it, but even that is optimistic.

Given how well Foxx stepped in if I had to choose I would have taken Friend. Obviously we need them both back though.
