Congrats on the perfect game.

Granted it ended a wild pitch, check swing called 3rd strike force out, but a perfect game is a perfect game.

Another ex-Met who gets a no-no with another team.

How is it possible that no Mets pitcher has gotten one yet????? Granted, it doesn't mean anything in the grand scheme of things, but it'd be nice to tune into a game and watch someone get that final out in a Mets uni.

Martinez took one into the 8th inning a few years back. Beltran sat out that day (possibly a nagging injury, can't quite remember). With one or two outs he gives up a hit off the wall that Beltran probably would have caught 99 times out of 100 with his range. Ended up giving up a 2 run homerun and the Mets lost the game 2-1. That was the day it should have happened and I will remember it as such until someone finally gets it.
