Steele has released 40-29 so far.

http://www.philsteele.com/index.html

Of interest:

40 - Cincinnati
38 - BYU
31 - Houston

Heavy Big 10:
35 Maryland
33 Nebraska
32 Iowa
30 Michigan

Total head scratcher
29 Virginia Polytechnic Institute

Houston had like 7 players on the All AAC Preseason 1st team.

WOW!

No respect for UConn at all...

Counting all AAC players (offense & defense, special teams) , 1st team through 4th team classification

AAC teams stack up as follows (O & D, ST)

UCF, 13-4
Houston, 15-,1
Cinn, 13-1
USF, 8-4
Memphis, 9-2
Tulsa, 8-2
E. Carolina, 7-0
SMU, 7-0
Tulane, 6-1
Temple, 6-0
CT, 3-0

Since the first number may reflect All AAC starters and depth 1st through 4th team classifications,
Phil Steele perception is UConn does not seem to have much of either.

@tduconn Just curious, did you watch any games last season? We sucked.

Pointing to the 3 game win streak vs 3 of some of the other worst teams in America doesn't disprove that fact either.

We don't deserve respect. We have to earn it.

Agreed but it's almost mathmatically impossible to not have more than 3 players on the top 4 'teams'.

I didn't look yet at the selections but there are more than 3 above average players on the team.

Knowing Steele... Lyle
is one of the three

I have no clue about most of the teams, let alone the players of the AAC so I'm far from an expert and more of an internet blow hard but who are our big snubs?

He has Davis, Jones and Mateus. So he at least hit on some right ones.

As for who I personally think would be in the top 4/11ths of the league...

Adams
Ashiru
Foxx
Obi

There are others who would have a claim, but looking at the roster.... wow, the #uptick was the biggest fantasy in history.

@whaler11 Definitely agree with Foxx. I think he has a big season this year, especially without Phillips.

Campenni, McBryde, Pruitt, and maybe a Jhavon Williams? I mean 4th team? You can make the case.

I know this upsets people here but I still think this is going to be a long year. 6-6 may put Diaco at the head of the line for AAC coach of the year.

Campenni was the other name I was going to add. Your second sentence is what I was getting at - 6 wins would be very impressive.
