Just saw on Twitter UConn offered 6-9 230 lb power forward Ian Steere from Wesleyan Christian in North Carolina. Appears to be a 3 star and holds offers from Kansas, Georgia, FL State, Clemson among others.

Kid's blown up the past couple of days. Before this week, all of his offers were mid/low-majors.

Judging from those offers, can't imagine he'll be a 3* recruit much longer

Many of his bigger offers appear to be recent as @Stairmaster mentioned. I tried getting more info on him and most of the buzz is recent and about him getting on people's radars.

Not much out there about him. Seems like him and Devon Dotson ('18 PG) have both blown up recently. And seems to know Blake Harris who tweeted at him after getting a Mizzou offer
