Anyone here install a pet door? I'm looking to get a cat door that opens/unlocks by their chip, or with a transponder on their collar.

Bottom line: I'm tired of waking up to find a possum in the kitchen or a raccoon on the couch.

We have a door by Hale. Excellent quality, but I have no clue of they have a chip version.

If your cats hunt; won’t matter. I’ve woken to bats (still not sure how he snagged a bat and released in my house), and other critters.

I found what you are looking for with literally a 10 second google search. We have one with Hale Pet Door, which as mentioned above are high quality, but I dont think they have an automatic version.

Here's one I found. Reviews look decent. The price seems kind of low for what it does. At least half the price of the Hale Pet Door model I ordered years ago.

Cat Mate Elite Super Selective 305 and 306 Cat Door
