I'm determined to make that word the quintessential memory of this UConn Football year. Used by the ESPNN announcer Brian Kinchen (and wasn't that a treat getting the full history of Tulane football (Tooo -lane) : Kinchen actually showed some good knowledge and ideas on how to open up an offense (which we didn't do)).
Our Offensive Line is Permeable. We regularly saw Tulane players in our face; we regularly got a 3 count to make a throw; we just are seeing a few specific guys getting beat. But, hey, we also saw a Team far more likely to hold or false start in our opponent. We had decent runs from Newsome and Johnson. But, I have to believe that - given what we know - there still was a way to go 20-40 yards for a few scores. So, even with a horrid unit, it seems Patterson & Cummings should have had a handful of plays that got us chunks.
