Call me a skeptic, but the first thing I thought when I saw the fabulous TV listings for WCBB was: that they go against NFL playoff games, and, since no one would watch anything else anyway, might as well get credit for putting on women primetime.

For some reason they opted to show A&M vs. Kentucky on the "regular" SEC Network channel. MSU-Tenn is on SECN-Plus online.

I'm guessing the network is obligated to show each team a certain # of times, and that they set the schedule before the season began.

Two things I've learned so far is that Duke although a good surprise team, may not be ready just quite yet and Miss St is for real.

FSU beating Duke makes me happy. It only further bolsters the Seminoles' #6 ranking. I love seeing previously-vanquished-by-UConn opponents doing well; we have legitimate skins on the wall!

Jen's team, to my eye, resembled UConn in no discernible way. With the game on the line in the last minutes, GW failed to defend, hit shots, or even dribble inbounds. Not good. Still, I wish her the very best.

Ugly game at first, but both teams picked it up in the two overtime periods. Wiese came up big for OSU late, finished with 26 points. McCall played poorly in regulation but stepped up in overtime.
