After Fenerbahce took 23-5 lead, they began to lose their way. Hold off Sopron 64-58. I have no idea why Gabby Williams did not play???

They did grind their way back into the game, respect. No idea about Gabby, but Meg Walker did some good work defending Iagupova.

Maite opted out this last year with Atlanta. It will be interesting to see if she is in training camp in a couple weeks.

Not this season, and maybe not ever after they drafted Aari McDonald. They have Hayes, Courtney Williams, Chennedy Carter, Sims, and McDonald in the guard positions.

Interesting, because I think next season Maite Cazorla will be the best Spanish pg playing in the LF Endessa League. Maite is also a very good defender. Chelsea Gray is still the best. Not sure whether she returns to Girona. On Valencia, Ouvina is also very good.

If anything, it’s always good for a WNBA org to give a shout out to a player who’s coming to their training camp regardless of whether they will make the team or not. It’s just good optics, and it gives them a chance to engage with fans and say—hey, look, our bench is playing on the biggest stage in Europe.
