Perfect in conference

A northern school?

( anything north of Fredericksburg is the North now)

I looked it up, neither the mens or womens team have ever been to the NCAAs. I root for the underdog-little guy as long as they aren't playing a team I root for

So is Culpeper still the South? Winchester?

Not only that, Princess Anne (home of UMES) is south of Fredericksburg. I thought it was close, looked it up, and it’s about 6 miles south.

I guestimated.
Northern Virginia aint the south and the DC commuter rail (VRE) goes to Fredicksburg.

Maryland is the north too but I don’t know a lot about the eastern shore especially the lower part.

So it’s debateable.

But the North is creeping South.

Fredericksburg definitely was still the South 25 yrs ago, but not sure now!

They were tied at halftime. GMU is way more physical than Richmond, but Richmond shot way better, finally pulled away in the third quarter.

If GMU wins the conference tournament, could the A-10 get three teams in ?

I dunno. That would mean Richmond and URI instead of the 14th and 15th place teams from the B1G. I’m not sure the NCAA/ESPN would allow that. 😜

UMass about to lose their first conference game. Down 15 w/ 2+ minutes left against James Madison.

ESPN has no role in picking the teams.

UMass isnt undefeated in conference, and this is not a conference game.
Stinking ESPN. Their graphic showed their overall record and then 9-0, maybe that was record at home?

And ridiculous humorous remarks with crazy-face emojis aren’t meant to be taken seriously

Duquesne finally gets a conference win in the A-10! Over Loyola (Chi), who isn't a bottom dweller.

Cleveland St. took out Green Bay by 1 in OT, another one bites the dust.

Another thing to watch is the conferences with a chance to get a high/low -- ASun, ACC, MAAC, MAC, NEC all have an undefeated and winless team. A10 fell out of the running with Duq's win.

ASun off the board with EKy's loss

Here's a list as I cannot keep up, lol. Upcoming games with 2nd and 3rd place teams that might be of interest.

ACC - Duke (13-0) / UNC on 2//15 and 3/1
Big East - UConn (14-0) / Villanova on 2/18
Big Ten - UCLA (14-0)
CAA - Charleston (11-0)
MAAC - Quinnipiac (16-0) / Fairfield on 2/14

NEC - Fairleigh Dickinson (12-0)
Summit - NDSU (11-0) / SD on 2/21

Rhody has a tough two game stretch here with tomorrow's game at 2nd place George Mason and an upcoming game AT Richmond (also tied for second). Both these two teams play very well at home so we shall see how Tammi Reese's squad handles it.

What she has done at Rhody has been truly remarkable. This was a doormat program for 35 years before her (and that includes Tom Garrick's tenure). My fingers are crossed they can weather these games but knowing the lack of talent she has vs. these schools has me worried.

There went Miami (OH). UMass nipped them by 1 point.

edit--MAC race is intriguing. Ball St. moved into first place by 1/2 game. UMass and Central Michigan aren't far behind.

Quinnipiac loses to Fairfield, 75-63

Duke, UCLA, Charleston, and NDSU all play tomorrow.
