Georgetown gave them a fight, Xavier really didn't, except for decent defense. I was happy with the team's composure when down 8 points in the early going in D.C. Against both teams, I was very impressed by the smooth and effective defensive switching the Huskies displayed, no matter who was on the court. Almost every time someone got beat, another defender was there to cover their behind. I don't know how they do that. And they had a decent team 3pt percentage.

For the last 4 games, the team's A/TO is 2.37. Ice and Paige at 5.00, Morgan and Kaitlyn at 3.00.

The rate ratings. Q finally squeaks into the eligibility group, so all active players are in.
I'm considering dropping the Made FT line from the grid, since no one ever fouls our girls when they attempt shots?!? Votes?

Great analysis as always, I always look forward to it!

I would keep the FTs Made stat. It is what it is and part of the record. Low numbers spark attention which can affect play.

Lastly, a question. When you name two players with a slash for a category, I assume that each has the number attached, not that their numbers combined reach the number next to their combined names, right?

Please keep up the great work!

When more than one player is in a cell, it means that if one or the other (usually the one with the lower raw value) had one or two more or less successes (or failures) their per40 values would be nearly equal or reversed. The value in the cell is rounded to the nearest tenth of the value of the one with more successes (or failures).

Taking the grid above, KK's assists per40 value (on 50 occurrences and 365 minutes) was 5.476, while Paige's value on 60 occurrences and 444 minutes was 5.405. If KK had one less assist, her value would be 5.336, less than Paige's value. So I called them equal (but put KK first in the cell since her per40 value was a little larger) and rounded the value to the nearest 10th of Paige's per40 value since she had the larger raw value (60 vs. 50) of successes. The grid would have been the same if both players' adjusted value rounded to the same 10th (e.g. 5.405 vs 5.444).

Make sense?

I do this because of the variability of both minutes and number of raw values between the players.
