Every day is a different game. Timing and Match ups. It took Cal overtime to beat Pacific who up on till then had not been playing well at all. Fans put entirely too much value on comparative scores.

Fans put too much value on early season rankings. PSU lost Bentley, Nikki Greene, and Mia Nickson to graduation and it was too much to expect that Lucas could carry them. She'll have enough trouble carrying herself without having teammates that get her easy looks.

That is one of the tougher road games a team could schedule. They were asking for trouble. South Dakota State has been a good program for a while now. Not too long ago, they almost eliminated Baylor from the NCAA Tournament.
