These guys have some nerve to extoll the values of an institution that put the Penn State brand ahead of raped kids.

These aren't the players. The players are excited. And for the record, Short and Arrington were called out by Posluzny, Bowman and especially Shane Conlan.

Honestly, why are you guys so hung up on an ex-player's loyalty to Tom Bradley?

As for comments from former players LaVar Arrington and Brandon Short not supporting the hire, Conlan said, "Brandon Short does not speak for the majority of former players. He's gone off the deep end."

It's not the level headed, rational responses that make headlines and generate buzz. Are you really surprised that these 2 dopes are being talked about? And what grown men walk around calling themselves The Lettermen anyway? Sounds like a failed WWF faction from the mid 80's.

A Penn State guy was not going to be hired because of the fear that, in investigating his ties to Sandusky, the media would find out that Sandusky's actions were known or at least suspected to a generation of players and coaches tied to that program. Period. That doesn't mean all of them did something wrong, but it's not a path the University wanted to be walking down.

. And they wanted a Penn State guy as the HC.

Talk about not getting it. But the players seem excited about having a schematic advantage.
