Wow, that's the best you got? Just calling me a loser?
Your trash talking is as bad as your football team and its history. Both have a ways to go before they'll ever be considered legit.
I missed you buggsy. You are a treasure. Question though: Does the irony of insulting a person's ability to trash talk even register to a person whose only insult is making the same "sorry" [please, at least pick some new adjectives] history point? You don't appear to have the intellectual chops to notice, but someone had to point in out.
"
Your trash talking is as bad as your football team and its history." Wow. What. A. Burn. Quick Jimmy, apply some wet cloths to your pride. That was a scorcher. You were right to mock him, clearly, you are a wizard with words.
What is the bar for a good history exactly? A .508 lifetime record in 144 seasons? 626-606-42 is something to be proud of? That is your bragging point? Not championships, which is what the adults care about? [BTW 626/144 = 4.35. Rutgers averages 4.35 wins a season historically. That is the point of pride?]
What have you done to deserve to pound your chest exactly? Somehow, we managed to win two more league championships than you did, and you had nearly a 20 year head start. For a sad history, we have a trophy case filled with something other than angsty poetry celebrating our long history as a barely adequate football program.
For what it is worth, if you want to brag about something, how about that you went .500 against a team with such a sad history when the caliber of athletes is the same. Its close enough to your historical record that you should swell with pride for not losing more than you won. That seems to be about as good as it gets for you. If there is something else, we would just love to hear a new track on the "Buggsy's Greatest Hits" album. You can say that you beat UConn more times than that, but as a team playing at the higher level, you were supposed to win. If you managed to lose, that is a you problem. We get angry when even top 10 caliber 1-aa programs beat us, not celebrate that we won. For such a sad history, we somehow have enough experience as fans to actually understand the "how to have dignity" part of being a fan.
