11-2 PSU

Iowa had to take a timeout at the 7:25 mark

23-17 PSU end of first

Points spread out for PSU

Czinano with 8 pts

52-41 PSU at the half. Iowa's defense this year...

3 in double figures for the Lions, 2 for Iowa

PSU maintaining that 9 pt lead they built in the first couple minutes.

Only able to see the box score. Holy rebounding differential!

19 - 3 for PSU for offensive boards?!!?!?!?!

38 - 19 for PSU for total rebounds?????

Clark starting to get hot after a generally luke warm 3Q. Iowa leads 71-67 a minute into 4Q

Now 17 pts on 7-16 (3-8 from 3pt)

Doubt Penn State will hold up

Tale of two halves, all Hawkeyes in the 2nd half. Up double digits. Clark w/ another strong game. 25 pts (9-18 overall 5-10 behind the arc)/6 reb/7 assists.

Iowa wins 96-78 after getting out of their atrocious zone from the first half and continuing to score. Clark finished with 32-7-6. Kate Martin with 19-11-5 too and was big keeping it close during the defensive struggles. Four Hawkeyes with 15+ points. They get Indiana & Michigan next.

In todays game against Penn State. Clark had 12 pts in first half and was pretty cold and the game was still close and then she went nuts for 20 pts in the 2nd half . 4-4 from 3 and really took control. She will have some strong support for end of year awards. She needs to score for Iowa to be really successful so she will have more 30+ games while Paige will continue to build up the confidence of her teammates by deferring in the Big East.

Another 30 point game for Clark, she's racking them up. Went from down 11 at the half to winning by 18.

Iowa can't afford to have these slow starts with Indiana and Michigan coming up. This seems to be a trend with them and they've been burned for it in the past.

I don't know why, but Iowa's schedule shows them playing Maryland next instead of Indiana. The last time I looked it was supposed to be Indiana, so this is a recent change but no mention of why.

The BIG10 has been flipping the schedule around due to COVID pauses. I watched the replay on BTN+ and the commentators mentioned some of the changes were recent, like within days/hours. Who knows what the schedule will be by the start of next week.

Yep the schedule changed and they found out during the post game presser, which was odd. I still haven't seen the updated schedule but it sounds like Iowa @ Indiana is moved from Sunday to early March and now Iowa will play @ Maryland on Tuesday.
