Covid issues with PC. Has to put Saturday in serious doubt
ask again when the games are missed and not rescheduledHow many games have to be missed to seriously forgetting about this season and considering it lost? Can't think it's legit.
After further review St John’s has already had a covid pause so maybe they’ll be fine. They also played St. John’s on Saturday. Not great for tomorrow either.
It will be rescheduled. Period. An aspect I didn't consider when thinking about the positives of us basically having no Covid issues and a consistent schedule after our outbreak. Not even sure when they'd reschedule our game for since IIRC there were very few gaps in our schedule

Missed..rescheduled...they're not being played on schedule. It throws a wrench in the works on the kids...maybe a loss next week results in that we had a long layoff now that we didn't play on Saturday. I get that you think what I'm insinuating is wrong, but missing these games and longer layoffs could have an effect. And those effects could alter our season.ask again when the games are missed and not rescheduled
Butler plays Thursday/Sunday already and Xavier plays Saturday so doesn't seem likelyJust a thought. If cancelled, is there another of our cancelled games that can be played at that time?
Wonder if there's a slim chance we play?
Agree to disagree but don't want to derail the threadThe last part of that is the major problem.
I wouldn't think very good. Although, we had two players and a coach miss the Seton Hall game on protocol, but they were all back for the trip to DePaul a few days later and actually played in the game. Then, you had UConn and others miss weeks. We are all vaccinated so I honestly don't understand when players who test positive can play again. Long winded way to say I'm not an oddsmaker.Crap. This could not be worse timing. I literally just picked up two lower-level tickets for $25 each for the game on Saturday and convinced my brother to come up from DC to go to the game with me.
FriarJ, what are the odds we play this weekend?
The newest NCAA protocols said asymptomatic players could play after 5 days, the UConn/PC game would be day 5 so it seems like they'd be eligible starting Sunday. Not sure if they'd just push the game back 1 dayI wouldn't think very good. What position did the coach play in the DePaul game?I wouldn't think very good. It was Blaney, so most of it was the yelling instructions position. He doesn't stomp his foot and cry though, so he couldn't have taken Hurley's position if he was on UConn's staff. What position did the coach play in the DePaul game?
They can’t test positive if they don’t test them at all. Welcome to CFP where testing is optional, I mean non existent. It’s funny how there were zero positive tests in the CFP but the rest of the bowl games covid was running rampant.
You mean prohibited. The SEC was not letting a single player get tested before that game. They can’t test positive if they don’t test them at all. Welcome to CFP where testing is optional, I mean non existent.
No don’t think you get it. Omicron has 3 day incubation. PC plays St Johns, tests positive them St Johns test positive cancelling our gamethey already had a pause, tomorrow will be fine.
Exactly $$$$$ is the determining factor in the end it always is lol. They can’t test positive if they don’t test them at all. Welcome to CFP where testing is optional, I mean non existent.
