Who cares about PC? Honestly, we have spent so much time on this board trying to distance our school from PC. Why waste any space even talking about a school that is dead to us?

Not buying it. These scores are not a surprise to anyone - they're known well in advance. Now that everyone knows what the new thresholds are, there's no way a coach at a major conference school is going to let his team miss the number. Ed Cooley knew exactly what score he needed from last year's team and he simply wouldn't be doing his job if he didn't do everything in his power to make sure Ledo, etc. didn't cause him to miss the number.
