I hope they find a way to increase their compensation. I love the WNBA, and would hate to see it's demise. Our up and coming young hoop stars have the WNBA players to watch, learn from and look up to.

They are not exposed to professional women's basketball league play outside of the U.S.. Since most foreign teams only allow 1-2 Americans on a team, the number of players playing at the next level after college would be greatly diminished.

If the WNBA dies, there may never be another attempt at giving birth to another profession league for women in the U.S. again.
