That's too bad. I thought that was a "fun" game. They scored more on UConn than anyone else. But, they've only won 1/3 of their PAC-10 games and at around 50% overall. The administration may want more of a winner, but not every coach can have a winning record. I wonder what their attendance was like? Because of their run and gun style, the games were probably more exciting than a Villanova style. If they are drawing well, then maybe they should have hired a recruiter that would get players to maximize his style of play to get them more successful, rather than firing the coach.
