Almost like it's better for your life expectancy to be real mobsters than an actors who plays them.
 
It's funny that he's remembered for being a mobster. I remember him first for a short called "Angel and Big Joe." He was a great guy in it.

Let's not forget he was David Addison's dad in "Moonlighting".

More proof that he was a versatile actor beyond mobsters are other credits which include: Gino in "Vasectomy, A Delicate Matter", Mayor Palatine in "Jersey Shore Shark Attack", and Bumbescu in "Airship Dracula".
