The Destroyer of Programs

guys, gotta be honest. A worse head coach UConn could not have picked, and Hathaway should never be forgiven for that. Ever. But as a pure position coach, just position, nothing else, I think PP does have skills. His son is kicking bigtime butt at East Catholic. Granted it's not Friday Night Lights football but figure the old man helped shape that. And PP also does seem to be a good family man.

All true.

Unfortunately UConn didn't hire him to be a position coach. Unmitigated disaster as an HC.

Clemson 56, BC 10. Clemson averages 8.1 yards per play and 6.5 per carry generating 229 yards rushing. Great D-line coaching by Coach P. Looks like BC's #1 defense may have been slightly over-inflated behind wins over UMass, Wagner and Buffalo.

Actually PP was a good head coach at WCSU and Cuse until about 2001, when the game started passing him by. I'm sure Cuse fans would state that the damage started on the recruiting trail before that. He was a below-average head coach once the 2000's hit.

True. About that time, teams realized that head coaches need to be offensive minded and that it's a mistake to hire a defensive minded coach. You can't teach an old dog new tricks. He would've been fine as an offensive coordinator but as you say, the game had passed him by. He ran the option at WCSU.

Have nothing to add other than his house in CT is a castle and he is adding on a massive pool.

I thought at first that picture of PP was of him smiling( had to be a first) then I realized it was a grimace.

Pasqualoni's got a lot of diverse looks. He's so hot right now... that's his 'blue steel'.
(Someone with photoshop skills.... have at it)

After Edsall I had such high hopes for the FB program. Was ambivalent about his hire, but wanted it to be a plus for us. I'm still crushed.

P had Watt and Clowney in Houston.

P is a great position coach.

This position is LAST.
