39 Total sacks, tied for 16th in NFL for Bears D-Line. Paul P will forever be average.
Ryan has burnt no bridges with his former coaches. PP will be a familiar, and I would think welcome, face for him in HoustonWonder what Ryan Griffin thinks of this?
OMG....One could only think it was because George was on the other side of the ball with his zone blocking scheme. If he manages to ruin a defensive line with JJ Watt, Clowney and Wilfork.....
And now he doesn't need to babysit the guys who are supposed to be weightlifting. Not that he did that...The college game passed him by, but he still knows a lot about football. I hope he has success in Houston. You'd have to try really hard to mess up a dline that included Vincent Wilfork and Jj Watt

Clowney won't play much on the line in Houston but still a lot for PP to work with. The college game passed him by, but he still knows a lot about football. I hope he has success in Houston. You'd have to try really hard to mess up a dline that included Vincent Wilfork and Jj Watt

I believe he'll play. It's a much less career-threatening surgery than it used to be even a couple of years ago. Just curious, but why do you think he will only be a pass rushing specialist? He was downright dominant against the run in college and was blowing up running plays in the backfield left and right during the small amount of time he actually played last season.Clowney (if he ever plays) I believe is listed as an OLB. I think he's going to relegated to being a pass rushing specialist only soon.

Thank you for blindly repeating the national media storyline. I had the same feelings at the beginning of the draft process and then actually watched what he did on the field.... and you're wrong. This totally ignores the fact that he was still a dominating player when plays were not run away from him his Junior year (didn't stay for his Senior year). His work ethic has drawn nothing but praise from the Texans and he was fantastic in the small amount of time on the field. Essentially, you have no idea what you're talking about but still want to have an opinion on the matter. He's a diva. He quit basically quit his senior year sohe wouldn't get hurt. He gives up on plays where he's double teamed and he only cares about himself. He'll be a starter at the beginning of the season, but his ego will get in the way.
