I didn't see a post on this and thought it was a pretty raving review of the "Calhoun Bloodline" and "Calhoun System" Link

I like Pat. He went to China rather than be the NCAA snitch (aka Godfather 2). He is a stand up loyal guy and he deserves the best.

Didn't the NCAA admit they erred when they said he lied to them.
I believe the charges were rescinded after he resigned.

They were looking for someone to snitch out JC - to the assistants credit that did not happen and I will always respect Beau and Pat for not doing that.

After the initial toxic fallout, I think they earned respect in the coaching profession for their loyalty. The only guy that threw Calhoun under the bus was Hathaway.

I'm very happy for Pat. Met Pat a number of times and he was always a class guy. He was Hooper's and my guy to get us into Gampel to watch the players scrimmage even when the coaches were allowed to observe. I still remember the time that JC was having people kicked out of the building but Pat vouched for us and they let us stay. Of course JC looked up at us and gave us one of his intimidating stares. There was a stretch where Hooper and I would go each fall to watch them scrimmage and one time it sure seemed he gave us a "You guys again" type of stare.

Anyhow, props to Pat for landing his new gig.
