He coached under Howie - he didn't play for him.

Was recruited by Central assistant Rybczyk and played for Bill Detrick (and C.J. Jones) as a Frosh. Played final 3 years under Mike Brown.

Was actually named as an assistant coach at
CCSU too work under Mark Adams, right after he graduated, but left before the 1991-92 season began to play pro ball in England. His first college coach job was under Howie in 1999 and he went to 2 NCAAs with the Blue Devils on his 4 years before heading to Storrs.
