First off, the kids article yesterday is laughable. He's employed by the schools newspaper and writes that garbage. He should be fired already.

However, his article is not that off from how many here view the program. 90% of you were openly hoping for losses last season. Half of you don't even realize that UConn beat Louisville on the road last year in the first road victory over a ranked team in the history of this program. The staff is coming together and so are the players. The talent coming in is unlike any we have seen in Storrs. The state of the program is in good hands.

We should expect nothing less than a Big East title this season, as usual. While many of you are hoping we don't make a bowl so P gets fired, the team is preparing for the last hurrah in the current state of college football where they have access to the big boy bowls. Schedule is great. A number of games at home to get excited about.

Either sit back and enjoy the season or be the same old bitter people that get shivers thinking about bashing people on a message board. In other words, get a life.

90% of us were openly rooting for losses? Half of us didn't realize we beat Louisville on the road last year?

I get the reason why this thing was written, and I actually agree with the concept that it's a good idea to support your program through think and thin, rather than hope for failure, as I believe that was the message that got fouled up in there, but it's also a clear example, that fans are free to do whatever the hell they want. No laws against stupidity.
