Logically, if the head coach isn't canned by end of day he should be kept in place until after game ten. There is no reason in heaven, hell or on earth to keep this worthless piece of garbage on our payroll beyond this minute but I will concede that if he is fired somewhere in and around game ten all will not be lost.

You are right, and I agree.....that if it's not done now, you can wait until November, but I don't think that's fair to the players, and the program and the fans and supporters........so I don't agree with that course of management style.

Pasqualoni should have been packing his office up last night, as far as I'm concerned. Deleone shouldn't have been allowed back in the building. It's not about whether or not you like the guy anymore, it's results. The results have spoken for themselves and they are undeniable.

THe fact that he is not packed up and out of those offices yet, has really shaken my understanding of what our administration is watching, and what their goals are, and what they are doing. If Manuel didn't or doesn't have some kind of course of interim coaching plan in place to move on after Towson, then we are really in trouble.

Well for the fans it's not about who's going to take over, it's about throwing the captain overboard ASAP. Which will feel good for a few minutes. Then the ship runs into a coral reef. Or maybe it already has.
Unfortunately it will take much more time to raise UCONN than it did to raise the Costa Concordia.

First We Need To Know Who In Current AdMinistration Had Anything To Do With His Hiring And Root Them Out Also. If McHugh Was Involved He Should Go Too. Right Now PP And Gdl Have To.Go SO God Damn Fast That They Should.Have Taken A Cab Home From.BuffaloyOu
We could always hire a different consulting Firm.

Not necessarily...imo this staff has underperformed. It is possible we have some talent and this talent is not bring used properly. Look at how many nfl players we had last year. Only one way to find out.

I keep reading this title and getting excited... while next to the Kiffen thread I associate with PP being fired.

Then I open and no joy. There is no joy in Mudville.

I don't, but did you have any confidence in "Dr." Gross after he hired GROB?

Well, Gross made a number of other good hires, and made some magic on the fundraising front, including getting the Melo Center done. When Marrone worked out fairly well, I think that ended any concerns about Gross.

The way Manuel was played by Calhoun, and then jerked around Kevin Ollie in retaliation, well, it all could have been done better. And he has not distinguished himself in his public comments about CR. Good luck to you on your next hire. I think Manuel is part of the problem, though, not part of the solution.

Thanks. We'll be sure Warde knows of your disapproval.

I think your problem is Manuel as much as it is Pasqualoni. Do you guys really expect this guy to get the next hire right?

Ok so what indicates to you that he will get it wrong? Turner Gill was a good hire for Buffalo, he was terrible for KU. But he hired the guy at Buffalo and they went from being the worst to getting to a bowl game.

Warde has the capacity to make a good hire, it's not a sure thing, but he can do it.

Seems like the vast majority of you all are not Warde fans. Just sayin'.

Many of us became his fan after he fired PP and GDL after the 4th game. Although it is a little late, but he did what he had to do to get rid of the problem. He has the potential to make a great hire. Whether he can find football version of Ollie remains to be seen.
